It was a gorgeous July evening that consisted of exploring the Cottonwood Park in West Lethbridge. I had never shot at this location before and I was impressed by the variety of colors and stunning view of the river and coulees. I make a point to check out new local locations and the lovely Kayla was game to come along and be my muse for the evening.
It's amazing how just being outside for a couple hours in nature can change your whole mental state. Although I wouldn't classify myself as a hiker, I love a good walk in the coulees to clear my mind and spark my creativity. I suppose some of us are just driven to wander and explore, whether that be local sites or globe trotting.
As someone who loves to travel solo worldwide, I often get asked why I prefer to travel alone. In all honestly, the solo traveler is rarely alone...it guarantees new adventures, fun experiences, and a chance to meet interesting new friends. I'm currently updating my Travel Location Wish List and I would love any recommendations you have!
