Newborn photography is a very time sensitive session, and can not be postponed as many other types of sessions can be. Due to the sensitive nature of working with newborns during this time, I have implemented a few additional protocols to all of my bookings.
To avoid any spread of germs and ensure a safe and clean environment, I am only booking at-home sessions so as to limit any additional exposure for babies and new mothers. I also only schedule one session per day to help avoid any cross exposure. I want to remind clients that all props and wraps are washed, cleaned and sanitized after each use. Sanitary measures such as frequent hand washing also take place regularly during each session.
Do help comply with social distancing recommendations, I ask that only one family member is present during newborn sessions. The area of the home where photos will be taken must be recently sanitized and decluttered. If anyone in the home is feeling ill, the session will have to be cancelled or rescheduled. I will continue to remain flexible with transferring deposits to a future session.
